FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present Indications are for moderate to strong north-westerly to north-easterly winds northward! of Kawhia and Napier, and south-westerlies to south-eas-terlies elsewhere. Expect changeable, dull and showery conditions generally. Barometer has a falling tendency in the north, but likely to rise slowly in the south. D. C BATES, Director. Meteorological Office.
