SIR JOHN BRAMSTON. (Rec. September, 15, 7.20 p.m.) London, September 15. Obituary.—Sir John Bramston.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. [Sir John Bramston, who was born in Essex in 1832, was a member of tho Queensland Legislative Council from 1863 to 1869, and of the Legislative Assembly from 1871 to 1873. Ho was a member of tho Executive Council for ■1863 to 1860, and again from 1870 to 1873, during the latter term being Attor-ney-General. In the succeeding three years he was Attorney-General for HongKong. He held the office of Assistant-Under-Secrotary of Stalo for the Colonies from 1876 to 1897, and in the following year was High Commissioner in Newfoundland.]
