FRENCH TEXTILE WORKERS STRIKE
OWING TO REDUCTTON IN WAGES.
(Rec. September 15, 5.5 p.m.) London, September 15. The Paris correspondent of. the "Daily Telegraph” reports that there are a hundred thousand strikers in the Lille, Roubaix, and Tourcoing districts, owing to reduction in wages in the textile trade. The strikers have forbidden the newspapers to publish, and decreed that all shops and cafes shall be closed.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
