STABLE PEACE THE GOAL TO LABOUR FOR. London, September 13. His Majesty’s reply to the address from the Convocation of York refers to the depression following the war, and says:—"A stable peace is the goal to which we must, unceasingly labour. I feel confident that my Ministers, .at homo and in tho Dominions, will keep it unwaveringly beiore them. I am deeply touched by the generous and whole-hearted loyalty of tho welcome, to the Prince of Wales on his Dominion tour.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
