SCHOOL COMMITTEES’ ASSOCIATION
A’ meeting of the School Committees Association was hold last night. It was decided to circulate to committees a legal opinion supplied by tho board bearing on the question of accidents to school children. The meeting decided to recommend to committees that a children’s Id. collection be taken up for four weeks in aid of the Plunket Homo Fund. A sub-committoe was sot up to go into the question of school colours in order to provent duplication. A report woe received from the subcommittee appointed to consult with tne Education Board and the Headmasters’ Association on the subject of free school stationery. The matter is to be further considered on Thursday week. A committee was set up to endeavour to secure a side school for Ngahauranga, and so save the necessity for children walking from Ngahaurangn to Kaiwarra as at present. .
