They hard had a lot to stir about what they could not do for the unemployed; my suggestion is, cut every man in the Railways. Public Works. and Government employ five shillings per day, and the highest paid ones in proportion; make them pay full fare when travelling. No concessions for goods; cut a lot of holidays put and make them work. If that were done there would soon be ft surplus to give every man out of work employment.
