THE ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS
gj r —As a lover of art and a frequent visitor at the gallery, I heartily endorse all that vour correspondent "W.A.C. says May I’ add that the side room, occasionally used as a tea room, requires improvement. It is apparently the refuge of rejects, books (not on art), and maimed statuary, some figures of which are grossly defaced by pencil scribbles. Surely it is ;within the functions of the custodian to see that this room is either closed to the public or kept in a condition that will not offend lovers of art.— 1 etC ’’ STUDENT.
