ELECTRIC LIGHT
CREDIT BALANCE INCREASED. The August figures covering tho operations of the electric . light' department show a slight improvement on those of preceding months. The credit balance for tho month was £1441 compared with .£HO7 for August of last year, whilst the increase in revenue was a little more than the increase in working expenses and capital charges.' The August figures for the two years compare as under: —
