SHIPYARDS TO CLOSE
EXCESSIVE COSTS OWING TO STRIKES AND DISPUTES. (Rcc. August 14, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 12. Yarrows and Co. have decided to clos® down shipbuilding on the Clyde on November 30, owing to the ship-joiners' and other strikes, ths reduction of output, and demarcation disputes making the costs excessive. They declare that they will reopen only when conditions enable business to bo conducted with some chance,of success.— Cable Aaan.
