RE HEATHER PEST
Sir—l have read in The Dominion of July' 2, Mr. Vosslcr’s letter, also Mr. Macintosh Ellis’s objection to the introducing of heather into New Zealand. I refer New Zealand pastoralists to the Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, who will, I am confident, settle the heather controversy, as it is a reliable authority. If I were to explain herein th© viilue of heather aa a’ winter feed for stock in Scotland, your correspondents would, I think, feel chloroformed. —I am etc., G. CAMPBELL. Huiarua Station. «.
