FROZEN MEAT FREIGHTS
CAUSING DIMINUTION LN EXPORTS. Sydney, June 23. A/ conference ot. meat exporters, in urging a reduction in freights, passed a resolution declaring that in consequence of the existing rates and the condition of the London market, only an infinitesimal quantity of meat will be available for export during the next half-year; further, that, if tho freight is reduced Jd. per pound the conference is of opinion that 36,000 tons of additional meat will be exported.—Press Assn.
