The attention of readers is directed to the advertisement in another column this morning notifying the sale of tickets for the dance which is to be held on Wednesday, June 22, in the Town Hall, in aid of the visiting domestic helpers’ fund, under the management of the Mothers’ Help Division of the AV.N.Ii. It is believed that tho public will generously support this fund, which means so much to many mothers of young families who are unable to secure any other help in their homes. Tickets can be obtained nt the AV.N.R. room, in the Union Bank buildings, first floor, where members of Hie committee will be in attendance from Monday morning until Hie day of Hie dance. Oh! tho reign of the roses Is over! And the throne of the sun-god Is down. Sec. tho hoe seeks In vain for the clover, Where the bronxe of the cedar turns brown. Th’ fall o’ th’ leaf’ Th’ fall o’ th’ leaf! Oh. does nothing we treasure endure? Afflictions oft linger tho’ toys be brief. But there’s Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure. —Advt.
