SIGNIFICANT ISSUES IN AMERICA PREVENTIVE LEGISLATION ASKED FOR I By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. (Rec. April 26, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, April 25. Mr. Weeks, Secretary for War, has requested Congress to frame legislation to prevent Germans stealing American military and. commercial secrets under protection of tho American patent laws. Mr. Weeks, in a letter, stated that since July, 1920, twenty-one American patents had been issued to Germans, all of which were assigned to Krupp. This, ho declared, is significant. Out of twelve patents selected at random eight pertain to railroad artillery.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
