TWO GIRLS INJURED

While two girls were double-hanking on a bicycle on the wrong . side of the road they ran into a car. One girl was thrown clear; the other, Rita Williams, tigod twelve, sustained a fractured skull. Her condition is critical. Stella Hobson, aged twelve, came into contact with milking machinery on. a farm at Kaipuki, and was seriously injured. There is little hope of her recovery.
