THE WRECKED MAGIC
VESSEL COMING OFF, DESPITE BAD WEATHER.
Although the bad weather has hampered the work of salvaging the wrecked scow Magic, good progress has been made. Tho vessel was at ono time high on the rocks but now she is almost off, and only ’l5 feet of her bow remains wedged on the rocks. The heavy seas yesterday practically put a stop to the salvage work, and the low tides have not been helpful. It is hoped, however, to have the vessel off shortly. Attempts to get hl.*r off are made ©very tide if tho weather conditions allow.
