The New Zealand Loan ond Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report on their Maaterton salo held on Wednesday. We had a small entry of sheep and cattle, which we offered to a largo attendance, In sympathy with outside markets, prices dropned about 3s, ner head on sheen. One pen of ewes was disposed of at £2 2s. 6d„ and with the exception of two dairy cows, the cattle yarding was sold under the hammer. Cattle continue to show improved prices.
