EXQLISHMEN DEFEAT WEST COASff. By Telegraph—Press Association. Creymoulh, Aucust 11. In tho prcßenco of 1600 people the English League team defeated the \\ CBt Coaßt representatives by 55 points to 13, after a very one-sided game, in "which, the merits of the sidcß were fairly indicated by tho scores. A bitterly cold wind blew across the field, which was dry. Pretty passing bouts among the English backs, who scored almost whenever they,got the ball, were opened up by Parkin and Thomas. Thomas also helped to open UP the game, whilo Davies. Stone, Doyle, ami Stocluvell made a succession of fine runs clean through the West Coasters whoeo tackling was poor. The Coast forwardß shaped better against the °PP° B "X ins occasional loose attacks, hut the u i* Iters never vero really pressed. The hrst spell ended: England, 32; West Coast 5. Eicht tries woro sccured by tho backs, namely, Davies (5), Stone 12), Parkin. Doyle, and Stockwell. Four we™ converted by Gronow. For West .Coast, Hunter kicked a penally goal, and also got a try from a loose rush. In the second spell the Englishmen scored se\en tries, Stockwell getting three, Parkin two. and Davies and Doyle one each. Wood con verted one try. For Coast Eyan and Clarke scored tries, Henderson converting one. •
