PRESS CONFERENCE
PAPER SUPPLIES FOE NEW ZEALAND. Ottawa, August 10. The New Zealand delegate* to the Imperial Press Conference waited a 9 a deputation on Sir G. E. Foster, Minister of Trade and Commerce, regarding the paper supplies, and pointed out the serious position of the Dominion newspapers. The Minister, in <i sympathetic reply, promised to Assist in every possible way. The New Zealanflers are greatly - impressed by the developments and potentialities of Niagara, and by the civic expansion and industrial enterprise in Toronto and the surrounding towns, resulting largely from cheap power. Theso conditions led the delegates unanimously to express the opinion that" New Zealand ehouTct lose no time in accelcratiu" its hydro-electric sthenics—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
