THE PRINCE OF WALES
VISIT TO SAMOA. The Renown, conveying the Prince of Wales on his homeward journey, will call at the island of Upolu, Western Samoa, on August 24. The Prince, as soon as he has landed there, will inspect returned soldiers, and then will bo welcomed by the white population. Following this the Prince will visit the historic village of Muliuuu. where he will be received and welcomed by tho leading chiefs. Afterwards there will be a Samoan feast, a homage ceremony, and the presentation of gifts, by the Samoans. This will bo followed by Samoan dancea find chants. What remains of the day will 1;e devoted to a motor ride along the coast road, Private advices received here by last mail state that the Renown will leave Sydnoy on August 19.
