Thosh who neglect to register the birth of children within tho time provided by lav.- were given a warning in the Magistrate's Court yesterday when the fathers of two infants were charged before Air. J. K. Evans, S.M., with fai.iux to rcaistei the births of their respective initials. Sub-Inspector Bme'rsou said. that the cases were brought not so much to have the parents punished as to give a warning to the public. ■ Frederick M'Sweeney, ono of the da icuJanla, said thpt he understood that the nurse attended to the registration, and he therefore did not trouble about th« matter.
