MEMBERS' SALARIES
The Civil List Bill (No. 2), which hns been introduced in the House of Boprc"sohta'tlves, is the Bill introduced earlier in the session, amended by the withdrawal of tie proposal to exempt certain official and legislative salaries from income tax. The Bill increases from .£4OO to .£450 the honorarium proposed to 'be paid to mombers of the House of Representatives. The present salary is £300. The other payments stand as in the original Bill.
