SATURDAY'S GAMES. Matches under the auspices of the Kugbj League were continued on Saturday. Tho principal match, that between Pctone and Suburbs, the two leading teams, had to h" abandoned on account of the bad stale of tho ground.
Seniors. Newtown defeated Athletic, at Newtown Park, by 15 points to 10. Tho garao was fast throughout. G. Bradley, tho crucli Wellington three-quarter, made his first appearance this season, but Newtowii proved toe good. Mr. Martin was referee
Juniors. Playing at Emerson Street, Suburbs dn fcated Central by 28 points to 1 -Mr Evans was rcforee.
At Petone, Potone North defeated Hovers by 41 points to nil. Mr. L, Zimmerman was referee.
