HIGH COST OF LIVING
■ENGINEERS' CLAIM FOR INCREASED WAGES DISMISSED. London, July 10. The Industrial Court has dismissed a claim by the trade unions associated with the engineering industry:for,a further increase in wages, oil the ground of thi high cost of living. The employers contended that the inoreases already, conceded were adequate to meet the increased cost of living, and that further advances would injure trade.
