♦ . SYSTEM OF ADMINISTRATION. London, July 3. In the House of Commons, Mr. Trevclynn Thomson nskecl whether the Government, as mandatory, intended to administer Nauru Island, so as to secure equal opportunities in trade and commerce with other members of the League of Nations, including the purchase of its phosphates, in accordance with Article Twenty-two of the League. Colonel Amory replied that it was intended to administer the island in accordance with the sixth paragraph of Article Twonty-two of the covenant.— Reuter.
