GENERAL LABOURERS' UNION
The General Labourers' Union mot on Tuesday evening, when tho resignation of Mr. M. J. Reardon from tho position of eecretnry wss accepted with regret. Mr. Reardon was instrumental in forming tho union, and has been its secretary from the beginning. The meeting wished Mr. Reardon to continue in office, but he explained that his time was fully occupied with tho work of two other unions. He was confident that the union's business lvould be well done by Mr. J. M. Campbell, who carried out tho duties of secretary while Mr. .Reardon ' was away from New Zealand recently.
