CONFERENCE OP DELEGATES.

Delegates of tho Related Printing Trades' Association met at the Trades Hall yesterday, Mr. W. W. P. Roberts (president) occupying the chair. there wero also present representatives from all Affiliated unions (with tho exception of Gisbome) as follow:—Messrs. R. Hutler, V. H. Clifford, C. JI. Chapman (Wellington Letterpress, Printers, Lithographers, and Paper-cutters' Unions); Mr. B. Martin [(Auckland city female bookbinders, rulers, envelope-makers, and printers' feeders); Messrs. J. M'lnornoy, secretary of tho Federation, and E. Grossman (Auckland Printers' Machinists, Bookbinders' Union); Messrs. W. Beeby and J. H. Smith (Duncdin Printers, Machinists, Bookbinders, and Lithographers, and Related Trades' Union);,- Messrs. C. Renn and J. W. Roberts (Christchurcli Printing Trades' Union). Tho conference dealt with claims for a now award for printers, machinists, bookbinders, lithographers, cutters, also newspaper 6tercotypers, and rotary printers. Representatives from the Wellington Bookbinders' Union (which is not affiliated to the Related Printing Trades' Association) wero present by invitation. The proceedings wero not open to tho Press. The conference will bo continued to-day.
