At a meeting of the Prince of Wales Reception Committee to-night, the Mayor (•aid lie had had an interview with Sir Irancis Bell, who had had an audienco with the Governor-Gener.il that morning and liivl minutely discussed detailsof the Prince's visit to the Dominion. Sir l'rnncis Bell informed Dr. Thacker that ;i definite itinerary had not yet been drawn up. The Renown would arrive presuma@y at Auckland on April 17, and the Prineo would spend twenty-eight days altogether in New Zealand. It was proposed that he should spend three dava fishing, probably in the Rotorua district, and four days' deer shooting. Wherever possible he would travel liy train. Ten or twelve days would 1» spent in the South Island, and tho Christcliurch visit would extend to four days. While in Christcliurch the Prince would be the guest of tli'o Governor-Gen-eral at Ehmvood. His rctimie would comprise about forty. Sir Francis Bell said the Prince would not bo entertained privately except by the GovernorGeneral, and the only form nf inside entertainment desired was a citizens' ball. The Government would give a X'l for Jil subsidy on what was expended generally on the receptions, as well as on decorations and illuminntions. Children would be conveyed free on the railways to the cities. While the Prince was in tho South Island the Renown would slay nil tho time in Lyttelton Harbour. X wish had been expressed by the Prince that lie should be given an opportunity to see as many people as possible, especially young folk. Any addresses which it was desired should be presented to the Prince should be forwarded ona month prior to his arrival in New Ze?'' land.
