Croskery, the defeated Labour canuidalc for Wellington Suburbs, also returned thanks to the electors who had voted for him. Although he had been defeated it was pleasing to note Hint more Labour oanilidatcs had been returned this election than ever before, and in three years* time he looked forward to a Labour Government m New Zealand. Concluding, Mr. Croskery remarket' that if the contest had .been a Dtraißhbiit fights between Mr. Wright and himself ho had no doubt that he (Mr. Croskery) would have won.
