NATIONAL MOURNING IN AMERICA. Washington, January 7. President Wilson issued a proclamation relative to the death of Mr. Roosevelt. He directed the flag 9on ryiblic buildings to be flown at halfmast for thirty days, and military and naval honours to be shown at the funeral. London, January 7. King George and Queen Mary have sent cable messages of condolence to Mrs. Roosevelt, in which they' said: "We had a personal regard for your distinguished husband. President Wilson has cabled his sympathy to Mrs. Roosevelt at Oyster Bay.
