DISCONTENT AMONG THE MINE-SWEEPERS
DEMAND FOR MORE PAY. (Rec.. January 10, 2 a.m.) London, January 8. Discontent among tho crows of the mine-sweepers reached a climax on Friday, Vhen some of the men refused to put to sea, declaring that the a>muneration was utterly inadequate in view of the risks involved and the big profits made by the trawlers, from which the crews aro largely drawn.
