PENNANT GAMES, TO-DAY. The following are fixtures for to-day:—Newtown v. Lower Hutt,-' Victoria v. Karori, and Khandallah, Petone v. Eastbourne, Upper Hutt, Johnsonville, and Seatoun (two rink matches—one homo and ,0110 away); Hataitai v. Bay; Thorndon and Wellington liave byes. FIELD DAY ON WELLINGTON CLUB'S GREEN. A club match of special interest will be played on the AVellington Club's green to-day, ''when tho New Zealandborn members will /play those who hail from other quarters. As the club includes a good many elderly men, it is not, surprising to find that there are more members born beyond than in the colony. Still the tussle should be a very _ interesting one. A \Red Cross tea is to be provided in the pavilion during the afternoon, and a large attendance fair sex is expected.
