The- Waihemo yesterday brought fresh supplies of American apples, oranges, lemons, and onions, wlrich are very welcome, all lilies being in excellent demand. The Sydney shipments are now very small, while local fruits are making their appearance gradually. Fiji bananas ex Talune at Auckland arrived yesterday in excellent order, and sold freely. Old potatoes arc very firm, while supplies of the now crop are increasing. Fresh eggs aro very hrm. Yesterday's approximate values were:—American oranges, 255.; Melbourne oranges, 18s., 205.; Sydney oranges, 155., 255.; American ivpples, 12s. to 15s. case; American lemons, 360's, 435.; Sydney lemons, 13s. 6d. case; local lemons, 13s. case; pineapples, 155., 18s. case; mandarins, 15s. to 225. 6d. case; gooseberries, ljd. to 2jd. per lb.; local tomatoes, Is. to Is. Sd. per lb.; Rarotongan tomatoes, Bd. and 9d. lb.; Fiji bananas, 14s. 6d. to 16s. case; Tongan bananas, 125., 14s. case; local apples, 125., 13s. case; grapos, 3s. 3d. per lb.
