ENEMY ATTACKING WITH LARGE FORCES . By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyright (Rec. September 29, 10.10 p.m.) • Petrograd, September 29. 'A Russian communique states that , there has been fierce fighting ill the Dvinsk, Mchuiany, and Baranovitch regions. "Tho enemy is attacking with largo forces at many points southward of the Pripet marshes, and ou the Galician front. "After furious bayonet encounters we occupied. Vorobievka, north-west of Tamopol."-
" GERMAN OFFICIAL' COMMUNIQUE. (Rec. September 29, 10.10 p.m.) / Amsterdam,-September 29. 'A German communique states:: "The booty taken at the Vilna battle included three guns, 75 machine-guns, and tho prisoners captured totalled 15 officers and 21,908 men. '•'Nortli-east of Visehiieff we broke through tho enemy's position, taking prisoner 3300, and capturing nine maci:ine-guns."
ENORMOUS LOSSES INFLICTED ON THE HUNS. ("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.) London, September 28. Amsterdam states that tho German losses in the Dvinsk district were enormous. Those killed during tho last few days are estimated at 14,000. REPORTED LOSS OF A WHOLE GERMAN ARMY CORPS (Rec. September 30, 0.35 a.m.) Petrograd, September 29. It is reported that the 41st German Army Corns was overtaken by floods in the Pinsk Marshes, and, it is believed, nearly all havo perished.
