lJy Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, August 26. Tlie inter-Gollegiato tburnamont opened to-day, AA'anganui playing Christ's College. Tlie weather was brilliant and there was a large attendance. After a fast spcctaoular game, AA'anganui won by- 24 points to 5. The southern team played a fine passing gamo, but tlie AYaiigamii forwards were mudi superior to the opposing pack, and gradually gained tho imper hand. • AUCKLAND -TEAM. Advice has been received that tho Auckland team to play against- the local representatives at the Athletic Park on ,Saturday is as follows: —Jloffitt, -Barker, Stewart.
