Reinforcements from France and Galicia have brought Austria's army against Italy to the desired efficiency. Austria has also completed her fortifications and defences. The operations in Laverone, Folgaria, on the high Malborghetto Plateau, Predil Pass, Tolmino, and Gorz have assumed the character of siege war.
