Accused was .arrested in Palmerston. Hβ was committed to' the Supreme Court"for sentence.

The Ballance Dairy Company's payment to suppliers for milk delivered during October-.totalled £6000. Payment was made at thd rate of lid. per lb. of butter-fat (states our Pahiatua correspondent). The milt 'supply at the Mangahao (Marigatainoka Block) ehceso factory last week-end_ was 770 gallons, A second vaWs being installed this week. It is expected .that the supply in tho flush of the season will roach at least 9000 gallons.—Paliiatua Correspondent.
