"A Fete Day at Seddon. Writing from Seddon 3 a correspondent says that the loveliest of weather occurred for the formal opening of the new post office at Seddon on July 27. i'nis ceremony was performed by' the Postmaster-General, the Hon. Heaton Rhodes. The space in front of the post office had been decorated with foliage, and a raised platform prepared for the various speakers. After tho opening ceremony an adjournment was made to the Domain, where afternoon tea, provided by the settlers, was served, and tho Hon. Heaton Rhodes, in his capacity of Minister of Public Health, walked round and made the acquaintance of some of the babies in this healthy district.
