Co., Ltd.', Masterton, report having held their weekly gale at Solway on Wednesday, when they submitted a laTge l yardijtg of. both sheap and cattle, for which thqro ■was ten competition at the following prices:—Two-tooth wethers, 15e. Id.; 4 and 5-year-old ewes, 14s. ' s.m. ewes, r.w.b., 13s. 2d.; f.m. ©wee, 10s. 3d. to 103. 9d.; fat and forward heifers. £5 Is.; forward cows. £4 ss;. weancr steers, 12s. 6d.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report:—At our Upper Hntt sale on Thursday we had a very good yarding of both sheep an! cattle, all lines meeting with good competition. We have, with the exception of Ave head of cattle, to report a clearance.. Good woolly lambs made from 13s. sd. to 13s. 10d.: 2tooth ewes, 15s. 5d.; medium lambs, lCs.; cull lambs, 6s. 6d.; 4-year ewes, 15s. 3d.; cows ami calves, £5 Bs.; empty cows, £4 sfi.;5 fi.; yearling steers, £2 125.; yearling heifers, £2 135.; weaners, 30s.
