Tlie Eketaliuna branch of the-Far-mers' Union has now a membership of 116.;
■As instancing the number of estates that have been cut up into smaller holdings in, the Hawko's Bay County during the year it is interesting to note that the comity electors' roll has had over 700 alterations made to it, tho majority resulting from the subdivision of large estates. The financial position of tho Pahiatua A. and P. Association, as disclosed by tho secretary to, the executive, is a-.very satisfactory one. At the end of the financial year, which closed on J'larch 31, the association had a credit balance, of £39 10s., . as against a debit balance last year of £70 13s. lOd. 'The •total number of subscriptions paid, for tho past year was 237, as against-198 received for 1913. The assets over the liabilities were also stated to bo about £150. •
