At Harrod's, Oxford gamely, bat ineffectually strugglod to reduce the load. Cambridge- easily held them, and the race was a procession' from Hammersmith, despite Oxford's spurts. Several of the Oxonians were distressed. Cambridge paddled home four lengths and a half in. the lead.
