Godber) have chosen the following team to represent Wellington in tho first Brown Shield match against Otago, to bo played at the Basin Reserve on Saturday next, June 21:— Goal-keeper, Belhaniie (Brooklyn United); full-backs—ri"ht Cross (Hospital), left I'arsons (St. Johns); halves—right Iliclcerby (Thistle), centre Roots (Hospital), left Shaw (St. John's); forwards—outsideright Roberts (Corinthians), inside-right Gibson (Thistle), centre Hughes (Hospital), inside-left Skinner (Hospital), out-ftide-left Barnett (Thistle). Players who aro unable to take part in the ..match are requested to inform the selectors without delay. Mr. B, L. Salmon has been selected to control the game, whilo Mr. F. O'Connell will act as Wellington's linesman. Tho other .linesman will bo chosen by tho Otago team.
