It is officially slated that a dosperato infantry battle Is in progress at Chatalja, where the Turks are engaging the Bulgarians' whole' line. . The Turks liavo advanced five kilometres to the north of Derk'os, and have occupied many strategical' points. (Rec. March 21, 5.5 p.m.) Sofia, March. 20. Five divisions of Turks at Chaialja, with artillery and cavalry, attempted to advance supported by the Turkish war-' ships, but wero routed with hfeavy loss. Two battalions wore,isolated and driven to the shore, where a portion of them escaped to the ships. • ■
