Two more cases of incendiarism, apparently' tho work of Suffragettes, have , been .reported. , At Eagfield Green, a largo houso belonging to Lady White, widow of 'the lato Fiel'd-Marshal Sir Goorgo White, lias been destroyed by fire. Tho niansion was empty at tlio time, arid the perpetrators entered it by using skeleton koysi, and saturated tho basement with petrol. Tho outbreak .was discovered at 10 o'clook in the morning. Messages inscribed "Votes for women" and "Stop torturing our comrades in prison" wero found. Two suspected women wore 6een cycling in tho neighbourhood after the outbreak. The damage amounts to <£-1000. Tho golf house at Wcston-Super-Mare has also boon destroyed by fire, and the outbreak is. believed to be tho work of Suifragettes, Among tho contents of tho 6tudio of Miss Hockeii, the Suffragette who was arrested last week on a charge of conspiracy to burn down the Roehampton golf pavilion, was a letter from Mrs. Pankhurst inciting to acts of violence arid outrage. .'

The women eprmlded' spirits on tlio main stairway of Lady White's house fpom the garret to the ground floor, and fixed tlio windows open to create a draught. Tho whole building was aflame simultaneously and burned for seven hours. Lady white was absent on tho Riviera. Both sho and her late husband were quite unconnected with tha ( suffiraj;a movement.
