Wedding at Hawera. At tho Presbyterian Church, Hawera, on Easter Monday, Ibe niariiago was solemnised of Miss Hilda Spence, daughter of Mr. William Spence, of nawcra, to Mr. Percy Thomson, solicitor, of Stratford. Tho church was tastefully decorated by friends of (lie IHrido, and tho service was choral, tho brido being a member of the choir. The Kev. J. M. Shoro was the officiating clergyman. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a handsomo gown of satin charmeuso, tho bodico being draped with a fichu of Maltese lace, and the usual veil and orange blossoms. Sho carried n bouquet of sweet peas and maidenhair fern. Her bridesmaids wero: Miss Ella Spence, sister of tho bride, and Miss May Thomson, sister of tho bridegroom. They woro dainty frocks

of white embroidered marquisette over French satin, and white lace Juliet caps. They also carried bouquets of white and blue, flowers. Mr. A, Thomson acted as best man, and Mr. A. Spenco was groomsman. A reception was afterwards held at "Corsoneon," the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomson left by motor-car for their honeymoon. Wedding at Toradalo. A very pretty wedding took place in All Saints' Church, Taradale, this week, when Mr. Arthur Hunt (manager of Mrs. ]{. Dolbel's Springfield Station), son of the lalo Mr. John Hunt, of Papakura, was married to Miss Rita Silia Ridley, daughter of Mr. John Ridley. The vicar, tho Rev. A. P. Clarke, officiated,-and the organ was played by Miss Clarke. The bndo wore n cream costumo and hat en suite, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. Miss Thelma Griffen was her only bridesmaid, and was also dressed in oream with a hat to match. Mr. Charles Brunton was tho best man. After the ceremony tho friends and relatives of tho lirtdo and bridegroom were entcrtaiued at tho homo of the bride's parents, and later Mr. and Mrs. Hunt left for the north, Hie latter travelling in a saxe blue costume, w.ith hat to match, A Cambridge Wedding. On Wednesday, at the homo of tho bride's parents, Cambridge, tho niarriago took placo of Miss Gwen Roberts, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. J. Roberts, and Mr. Wiilliam Muir Douglas, only son of Mr. W. Muir Douglas, of St. Helier' Bav, and lato of "Hruntwood," Waikafo. The Row W. Gow, of tho Trinity Presbyterian Church, officiated, tho ccrcmonv taking place in the drawing room, which had been beautifully decorated with quantities of white (lowers for tho occasion. Tho brido wore a grey cloth costume and a largo grey tagcl hat trimmed with grey satin cord and grey lancer Illumes, and'she carried ii bouquet of white (lowers. Her sister, Miss Mary Robert?, was in a heather tweed costume and large black-plumed hat. Mrs. R. J. Roberts, mother of the bride, was in a black crepo tie chine gown and black hat, with leathers; Mrs. W. Muir Douglas, of Auckland (mother of the bridesroomn), was in a navy blue costume, sable furs, and black hat, with touches of whlka.
