AUSTRALIAN REPLY TO CANADA,

The Federal Government has made a sympathetic response to the appeal of the Canadian Minister for trade reciprocity. Mr. Tuder, Minister for Customs, in writing to Canada, stated that it was the hope of his colleagues that an agreement may be arrived at, as it was thought that reciprocity liotween Australia and the sister Dominions was desirable.
