Sir,—ln a letter appearing in your paper over Iho iiom-de-plume "Plain PeUr," who seems anxious lo learn the mnanhut of the much-used word "pimp," I find (in Webster's Dictionary) (he word "pimp" to moan "pander," and "pander" moans "to serve evil passions," —I am, etc., E.
