am. F. MOORE'S LATEST PURCHASES. Further particulars gleaned as to the two Hereford bulls which are on their way to New Zealand from Liverpool by tho steamer Opawa, to the order of Mr. F. Moore, of Kai Iwi, show that tho stock was purchased by Mr. Jns. Stuckey on bohalf of Moore, from Mr. Arthur P. Turner, • The L«en, Pembridge. One of the beasts is the two-year-old bull Montezuma, 27,70G, sire Lord Lieutenant, .22,323, winner of the first prize at Lord Tredegar's show, "Newport, 1910, second Herefordshire and Worcestershire at Ledbury, also second at the Royal at Norwich this season. To accompany Montezuma, Mr. liickey selected a bull calf of great promise, by Grosv.enor, 26,901,. daai Maidenhair, by Perthshire. Grosvonor won first prize at tho Hereford Herd Book Society's April sale in ,1910, and was sold for 2Oogns. and ex.ported to South Africa.
