H, Price, who has been promoted to control the Union Company's branch agency at Invereargill and tho iihifT, arrived in Wellington by the Pattella from Nelson yesterday morning, and left for tho south by tho Maori last evening. Prior to his leaving Nelson, where he lias been manager for six years past, Mr, Price was entertained by members of the Nelson Club, and complimentary rcfereiico was made to Mr. Price's courtesy, official capacity, and his popularity in 60ciaJ circles. A eet of military hair-brushes was presented to him by tho ladios of tho Nelson Golf Club, and tho gentlemen of tho club presented him with a silver rose-bowl.
