MR. JOHN HOLMES ACTIVE. ' 13y Telegraph—Presg Association—Copyright London, September 14. Mr. John Holmes, a New Zealand trado commissioner, has visited Ireland, and arranged for shipments of New Zealand butter during the Irish, winter. Ho states tho trado has hitherto been hampered by Danish competition. Mr. Holmes is now in England interviewing importers of meat, kauri, tallow, wool, and grain. NO OFFICIAL STANDING. London, September 14. Tho High Commissioner, for Now Zealand," Sir William Hall-Jones, states that Mr. Holmes is not officially connected with New Zealand trado.
