Tho Mejliss has offered a reward of ,£20,000. for tho capture, dead or alive, of the ex-Shah, Mobamed AH, now in Northern Persia. Smaller sums are placed on the head of tho ex-Shah's brothers, Salar-cd-Dowleh and Shua-es-Sultaneh. The appointment of Major C. R. Stokes, of tho Indian Army, and military attache at the British Legation, to reorganise tho troops has occasioned surprise. The Russian Minister has made urgent representations against tho appointment, and declares that if it is persisted in Russia will tako other 'measures.
